Ritipampa de Quelcaya 5680m
The Ritipampa de Quellcaya is a big high altitude ice-cap in the remote southern Cordillera Vilcanota in Peru.
A distant view of the Ritipampa de Quellcaya and Laguna Sibinacocha from the north.
And a panoramic shot of the Ritipampa from the southeast, showing just how flat it is! The big peak on the left is Ausangate, which lies about 20km further away from the camera.
We can organise guided ascents of this peak. For details of how to climb Ritipampa de Quellcaya and neighbouring peaks please see our guidebooks, which are available in English, Spanish, Polish and French editions, direct from us or from all good bookshops and mountaineering shops.
